PACKING LIGHT - KIT REVIEW
One of the aims of the trip was to investigate
whether a small bike such as the Scrambler was
suitable for an extended overland trip. As such, we
packed with that in mind - not simply for a two week
trip. There were a few omissions from the kit list
which would have been important for a long trip -
namely spare parts and a few more tools, but by and
large we included what we would have needed. In
fact, I was carrying surplus camera gear and a few
extras to review, so in reality we would have had
more space for parts and tools.
