Ventilation and Access

Just as important as waterproofing is the ventilation of a tent as we breath out moisture . No ventilation and you ’ ll find that the inside of your tent is running little rivulets of water down the inside of the tent , most irksome !
The Solo is very well ventilated as the sleeping section is separate from the flysheet and has a good fist sized gap that will allow the moisture out of your sleeping section being made of a breathable fabric mesh . There is also the twin doors to the sleeping section that can be opened but with the bug mesh left closed that will allow a full flow of air through the tent . Great if you ’ ve had a campfire curry the night before but then you ’ re sleeping solo so no one is going to complain ! The garage section also has three large doors that can be tied back to open the section up fully on a glorious sunny morning .
Your sleeping section has access at both sides , so you can go through the smaller ‘ hatch ’ door on the outside of the tent or the larger mesh inner door that leads directly from the garage . This would depend on if you ’ ve parked your bike in the tent or not . So we can see that ventilation has been very well thought out and I had no issue with any condensation at all in my workshop away from home .
