Armour
The Q Pants are made from textile material and reinforced with HI-ART at the knees. HI-ART is Jofama’s
own brand of material that makes textile at least 500% stronger. This is placed in areas of particular need
for abrasive quality.
The CE armour plates are in four positions; both knees and on each hip. The armour is placed in an
oversized pocket and secured in place with Velcro. This takes into account that riders legs tend to be
slightly different and each rider will want to move the armour around to get the best fit on the ride. It is a
very simple case of pinching the armour to pluck it from the Velcro and the then moving the armour to just
where you want it.
There is some added protection from leather inserts at the inner lower leg and at the seat of the pants.
This is more a case of protecting the material from areas that rub and shift constantly and gives the pants a
much longer life cycle.
