When a bike is left sitting for some time, seals can dry and start to weep. Clean your forks and rear
shock and bounce on the bike as hard as you can for a minute or so. Get your breath back and check
around your fork seals and rear shock strut for any streaks of oil. If you get the odd streak, wipe it
clean and keep a very close eye on it. Sometimes they stop leaking after some light use but if not,
replace immediately.
Teds Tip: Generally, fork seals should be replaced in pairs with new oil to ensure both forks are balanced.
