suspension Again we are looking at something that has been designed for the flat track racing concept and anything you go over and I mean anything leaves a whack in the arse like something just broke, you may not be sure if it’s your spine or the bike but something just went bang! What is does allow from the upside down Kayaba 41 mm fork and the Kayaba rear shock, pre-load adjustable spring is flickability. This bike grips the road and corners are a breeze as you get very little travel at speed on the apex. That’s great fun and puts a massive smile on your face as you click up and down the gears for the secure play the suspension gives you but after an hour or so… I was kind of done with that and wanted to head off 120 miles into Cumbria. With a heavy roll of my shoulders it seemed a bit a chore. This was after the education of hitting a rather ‘soft’ pothole and having to check my coccyx was still attached.
