There is padding there for the rider and the grip is better with a more suede effect up front but there is not enough padding to diffuse that growling 803cc L-Twin monster underneath. There is also the stiff basic suspension from the side mounted monoshock that means more padding over anything more than a gentle lump in the road is going to be a jolting reminder you’re on a track bike. For around the city this would be an ideal and very stylish commuter but for a week long ride into the unknown… your arse is going to look like a Baboon in mating season. Something rather useful as standard under the seat.. a usb hub! I could charge my phone or power up my vape (4 months and counting off the smokes at the time of going to press) and it was such a pleasant surprise to find. I was actually looking for the tool kit (before reading the manual) but there it was and very welcome it was too. There is also a small tool kit next to the phone pocket and you get a C spanner to adjust the suspension. usb under the seat is a nice add on from ducati
