Day 4
Campo de Piedra Pomez
The whole trip was led by Ruly Becker, a friend and experienced
pilot who knew absolutely whole area.
The idea was to cross the spectacular “ Campo de Piedra Pomez
“ to arrive after noon to the tvillage of “Las Papas” and end the
day in the city of Fiambala. The result was not as expected.
The first stop of the trip and after the first volcanic sand was at the
foot of “Volcan Carachi Pampa”. The first sandy earned them the
pulsedas some pilots had to leave his seat for others to take the
bikes to cross the sand.
We cross the “ Campo de Piedra Pomez “ a mixture of sand and
volcanic rock.
