Playtime for big boys and girls in Argentina Little tired of the hard day would head to another town north of Argentina chooosen more consolidated roads). We are heading further west to pass the “ salar de Antofalla” salt Antofalla, Antofalla to know a fabulous place, called “Botijuela”. The “Salar de Antofalla” has an extension of 163km long; departing from Antofagasta de la Sierra must travel almost 50km to reach the “Abra de los Colorados” more than 4600mts high, then it descends to cross the salar and get to the village of Antofalla. From there we go parallel to the salar to climb the mountain to the place or a plain called Botijuela. In that places lives only one person guarding their treasure, a “Geyser” off and a small pool of hot volcanic water. We continue climbing towards the West, crossing sand, then down to the south end of the Salar de Antofalla, Quebrada del Diablo and back to Antofagasta de la Sierra. In Antofagasta , we meet with two other friends of our city (in motorcycles bmw 800 gs) . We would travel with them the following day.
