The Smoking Gun of Cuba
Perhaps more famous than Fidel and Che are the cigars! Legend would
have you believe that the cigars of Cuba are hand rolled on the thighs
of virgins. Why this would increase the value, flavour or taste is a
wonder. It is also reported that US President John F Kennedy before
signing the embargo against Cuba had his Press Secretary Pierre
Salinger to get him a large stash of H. Upmann cigars before this was
signed. So loved was the cigar that JFK tried to leave them out of the
embargo but tobacco firms in Tampa objected.
