left every couple of seconds to navigate my way through the
multitude of hairpin turns and switch backs. I spent the time
roaring laughing and shouting at the top of my voice, “Gowan ya
good thing!” I thought to myself, “This road had to have been
built by a motorcyclist, there is no way they needed all these
bends!”
The road bends and twists its way through so much natural
beauty in such a short time, it leaves you feeling dazed. The
passes are so high, 4800m on the Chilean side if you get off the
bike, you find yourself breathless with even the smallest exertion.
