Dunrobin Castle This is a cracking stately home in Sutherland, in the Highland area of Scotland, and the family seat of the Earl of Sutherland and the Clan Sutherland. It is located 1 mile (1.6 km) north of Golspie, and approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) south of Brora, overlooking the Dornoch Firth. So do wipe your boots before you go in and have a look around at how the other half live. On the plus side I'm sure they don't get to go off and play on motorbikes. I mean seriously, how long must it take just to get the hoovering done in that place. 'There is a great deal of history about the clans and the surrounding area or you can just chill out and take a walk in the gardens while you get another great picture for your collection.
