I’m not that big on the
old Ray Mears survival
tactics in the extreme,
mainly because when
you go and explore on
your motorcycle it’s
rather rare that you’re
going to be that far from
everything you need.
Unless you’re heading
off on some epic trip
across a desert or down
the Road of Bones for
Magadan then all you
need is a credit card.
But the odd bit of
camping can be part of
the fun as you pull off
to a nice spot in a
National Park (based on
you being able to camp
there by the law of
course) then it’s always
nice to have a hot
cuppa! Now there are a
plethora of stoves on
the market and self
made stoves plus the
guy that wants to rub
two sticks together
while grinding his
coffee on a slab of
slate!
