Motorway riding the curse of any biker but
a much needed evil at times to get to the
interesting places that we love to play on. If
you’re in the UK then you are almost forced
to use them to get to Europe and the train
or ferry. The bike will sit at 80mph all day
long on the German autobahn (It will do it
anywhere else too but that of course would
be against UK law wouldn’t it!). I was two up
with fully loaded panniers and the miles
did not seem a chore with the 645cc v-twin
purring away. You get a very nice return on
the mpg also, covering speeds of 80mph + I
was still getting 55 – 58mpg. This is shown
