MEM - What are you most proud of about the formation of The HUBB UK ?
We ’ re very proud of how Sam ( Manicom ) and Iain ( Harper ) have taken the HUBB UK event to the next level – it ’ s clearly our flagship event . At our overland adventure travel events all over the world , on the Horizons Unlimited website and the HUBB forum , our goal has always been to inspire , inform and connect travellers all over the world . People tell us we ’ ve accomplished that , so we ’ re very happy !
We ’ ve travelled to over 50 countries , and also lived in a lot of countries over the years . We feel grateful to have been able to do that , lucky that we were born in a country that offered us opportunities and humble to have so many wonderful people all over the world call us friends .
MEM - Why did you choose to have your adventure on a motorcycle ?
There ’ s another way ? Seriously , since I ’ ve been riding a motorcycle since I was 16 , was a motorcycle mechanic , a motorcycle dealer and a motorcycle racer , it was the obvious choice . However , our philosophy is that it doesn ’ t matter whether you travel on 2 wheels , 3 wheels or 4 wheels , it ’ s where they take you that counts .
