The Haggs Bank Event...
Haggs Bank is a fav of mine and not just for the
awesome facilities, we will ook at that a little
later but for me the road to Haggs Bank has to
be right up there with the best of them in the
UK. It's incline, decline, switch back and open
view heaven. If you've not 'done' the A686 or
Hartside Pass it is know is a road that you could
just play on all day until you ran out of fuel -
grinning all the way. If you've not been before
then you can thank me by email once you go!
Pulling into Haggs Bank site it warmed the
heart to see so many cheery faces around the
large open fire, all chatting about bikes and the
ride outs from the Friday. The site bar with local
beers was well attended (now that the riding
was done for the day) and the beer flowed as
well as the conversation and banter. Now this
place belongs to Danny Taylor the Road Kill
Cookout King so you're going to get fed and fed
well. I must admit that I went for the beef chili
but there was a vegie option too as the chef
cooked up a storm in the bunkhouse kitchen.
