I
decided early on in letting the route take shape as I traveled, guided mainly by the
direction of the national park system, the weather, and if I had school visits scheduled. Often
if you meet me on the road and ask where I am going from here - I may not have an answer for
you! I do not know where I may go until the night before or the morning of as I drink my
coffee and review the maps, it is a new found luxury in understanding and finding the beauty
in the uncertainty of "lack of" direction.
