I
’d have no issue heading off across Europe (and beyond) on the Verseys 650 and the new
styling is a winner for me! There have been a few facelift touches for the 2015 entry petal
brakes and a rather fun looking banana swing arm glowing at the back. Best of all for me at 6’2”
is the taller and manually adjustable screen to take the wind right over your heads where it
belongs. Another great thought is the smoothing out from the engine vibration, when on the
VStrom at 2500 to 3000rpm I get a noticeable buzz in the seat and the grips but not so with the
new Versys and I’m told that it’s all thanks to a new set of rubber mounts for the engine –
smooth sailing indeed and ready to play for the summer touring season.
