A thermoplastic full face flip front motorcycle helmet.
About.
The Italian brand that is Airoh has a good range of lids but they seem to be either in a sales slump
or getting new stock in because right now the prices are slashed to hell! For a flip front, they tend
to have more than their share of vibration at the best of times but with the Matisse I was getting
pissed off within 100 miles of the buzzing. I sit at 6’2” so I do tend to pop up above any stock
screen and get a face full now and then but I do still expect a lid costing 3 figures to buzz less than
a rampant rabbit on a drunken Hen night. To be fair there are lots of great things about the
Matisse, it glows in the dark, a pale blue .. yup, I though the same... Tron! Get me one! (The original,
not that suck arse of a sequel they brought out – shame on you!) On the grown up side all the
padding comes out for a good washing, I hate a smelly helmet. They are pinlock ready to stop the
steamy breath, a built in, snap down sun visor and you’re paying under £100. If you’re shorter and
can duck under a screen this could be a great buy for you!
