Television Host of CBS’s “Recipe Rehab”

decide their new favorite. Ríos was kind enough
to sit down with MOST to discuss her show, the
challenges of motherhood, and plans that Ríos has
up her sleeve.
“Recipe Rehab” takes all sorts of recipes,
but Ríos says that her favorite recipes to give a
makeover are the sweet ones. Ríos says she has
a major sweet tooth and that the sweetest recipes
can be the easiest to give a quick face-lift. Ríos
says she loves using dates in recipes because
they add sweetness while adding lots of fiber.
When it comes to chocolate, Ríos has another rule
that she follows, “The darker, the better.” Dark
chocolate is filled with antioxidants and offers far
more benefits than milk chocolate. Ríos tells us to
“trust her” when it comes to a making brownies
with coconut crème!
She
describes it as a positive show. Explaining, “We
all have those delicious family recipes that remind
us of home, but we often can’t and shouldn’t enjoy
them every day.” So, each week two chefs face off
in a competition to give one family’s high-calorie
recipe a new low-calorie twist. After the family
When Ríos isn’t cooking or crafting, she’s
spending precious time with her baby, Yaguez.
Ríos says that having Yaguez has only added to
her appreciation for crafty DIY ideas. “Setting up
a craft project for the little ones is a great way to
keep them involved without just setting them up
in front of a screen,” says Ríos. As far as home
design goes, Ríos says that she has a newfound
love for easy-to-clean fabrics and prints. Having
a baby, dog, two cats and husband in the busy
city of New York reinforces her appreciation for
