Reps! and American Curves. Tosca was also
heavily invested in working with the magazines.
When Tosca and Robert married, their two
families merged; Tosca bringing her three children,
Robert bringing his son and daughter. Kennedy
and his son Braden were in a car accident in 1988
that left Braden, 11, with severe brain damage
requiring constant care. Braden lived in their
home until his death in 2011. The following year,
Kennedy was diagnosed with lung cancer and
died in April 2012. On Robert’s “death bed” he
gave the publishing company over to his wife. So,

Before she was married to Robert he also built a
$13 million dollar house, which upon his death she
learned Robert was also upside-down in.
From the public’s view, and because Tosca
had not learned nor disclosed all the facts to the
public, it appeared the publishing empire failed
once she took it over. The fact is she can only be
blamed for trusting her husband. So Tosca and I
talked a lot about spouses, and having the right
to ask financial questions. She also asks herself,
“How did this happen to me? I loved him and I
trusted him.” We need to be knowledgeable about
all debt in a marriage, because ultimately each
spouse is responsible, as Tosca discovered. She
had no choice but to file for bankruptcy on the
publishing company. She is still trying to sell their
