charities as much as I can.” Taylor-Ann holds a
close bond with animals. Her family had fifteen
animals when she was born, and one was a pig.
She admits that if she were not in the entertainment
industry she would be a vet.
e asked how she maintains such a
close relationship with her father since
he is a world class enter-tainer and
continuously traveling. Taylor-Ann explained that
because she can be fully honest with her dad,
it allows her to have a strong relationship with
him as both a daughter and a friend. Taylor-Ann
considers her biggest influence to be her father; he
is a Jack of all trades and always taught TaylorAnn to believe in herself and her passions. She
explains, “I have been raised on the motto that if
you don’t try you will never know if you are good
at something. My father has motivated me to work
hard and never give up on my dreams.”

Taylor-Ann decided to start a documentary
on her father in order to show the world David
Hasselhoff’s driving passions and what it took for
him to develop his brand. She was excited to be
able to document someone who was able to come
back and reinvent himself, better than ever before.
The filming process was initially scheduled to take
a couple weeks, but when Taylor-Ann realized how
interesting and provocative the documentary could
be, she decided to extend the filming for six
months. Although she did not have any filming
experience prior to starting the documentary,
Taylor-Ann knew that the best way for her to
learn was to grab her Canon and GoPro and take
a chance. Taylor-Ann is confident in the notion
that, “You will never know if you are good at
something until you truly try.” The documentary
on David Hasselhoff will hopefully take the
festival circuit in 2015.
