By: Elizabeth Price uest starring in multiple Baywatch episodes by the time she was nine, Taylor-Ann Hasselhoff’s life may seem anything but ordinary. However, Taylor-Ann views her childhood as pretty normal; no one in her community or at her private school looked at her any differently because her father was David Hasselhoff. Even though she would go to the beach every day after school to watch her dad film as the star of Baywatch, Taylor-Ann did not realize her life was different from anyone else’s. It was when she attended summer camp that she came to find that people would want to be friends with her because of her father’s celebrity. She then realized she had to be more careful about who she brought into her close circle. This challenge has continued throughout her life as she has learned that it is hard to trust people. In the entertainment industry, it is difficult to know what people’s real motives are, and she has learned that she “cannot always be so open with everyone.” Growing up in entertainment industry has provided Taylor-Ann with many significant experiences. She has seen the amount of devotion required to be a writer, producer, singer, and actor. Witnessing the work and dedication needed to work in the business has given her the platform to dive into whichever field she chooses. Her father knew many talented people who were able to give Taylor the best advice and the kind of handson learning that she would not have been able to receive if she had not been brought up in the industry. In 2010 Taylor and her sister, Hayley, made their debut into the music industry as Bella Vida. Both sisters love to sing and write music and hold an active bond over electronic dance music (EDM). Setting aside the concern of their voices meshing well, they moved forward with dedication. The first song Taylor and Hayley worked on together was called “Turn Up the Radio” and when they heard the finished version they knew their collaboration would be a success. The following year, TaylorAnn and Hayley released another single, “Kiss Kiss Me Bang Bang” under their new label while establishing themselves as legiti-mate artists in the EDM scene. After the success of “Turn Up the Radio,” the girls took off on an international tour. In Europe, they played sold out venues. “Touring with your sister is an experience of a lifetime. We were able to fly all over the world to perform in different clubs with our crew of six dancers.” Being able to see different cultures and explore cities Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, and Austria was eyeopening for Taylor-Ann. She emphasizes, “If I could spend the rest of my life exploring the world, I would.” With all the places she has been able to visit; London remains her favorite. She relishes everything, from the locals to the cuisine, and enjoys living the European lifestyle. Today Taylor can be seen conducting interviews for Bellus Magazine. Initially working as a host, one of her first interviews was with actor, Gregg Sulkin from the MTV show, “Faking It”. The creator of Bellus, Joshua Shultz, hit it off with Taylor-Ann from the start, realizing how well they >>> www.MOST mag.com || FA S H I O N M A G A Z I N E || 135
