Randall ’ s Independence Day celebration set for July 2
The small town of Randall celebrates Independence Day with passion each year — this year the city invites everyone to celebrate with them Saturday and Sunday , July 1 – 2 .
Saturday , the parade begins at a new time — 5 p . m . The Fire Department will host an open house , and food and beverage items will be provided throughout the day . A street dance will have people moving all evening to the music of Diamond Back , beginning at 8 p . m ., and a fireworks display begins at dusk .
Sunday , July 2 , the Randall Car Show sponsored by the Randall VFW Curtis-Olson Post # 9073 , runs from 11 a . m . – 3 p . m ., on Pacific Avenue , across from the VFW . The awards ceremony begins at 3:30 p . m .
Individuals who wish to have an entry in the parade , may contact the Randall City Hall at ( 320 ) 749-2159 , for an application .
