Harding to host ‘ first-ever ’ Harding Days
The city of Harding is planning its “ first-ever ” and hopefully “ annual ” event , July 8 .
Dubbed “ Harding Days ,” the fun begins with a rodeo on the grounds of JJ Legacy Cattle Company , owned by Jeremy Wagner , from 5 p . m . – 7 p . m ., as well as a Mutton Bustin ’ contest for kids .
The other events of the day will take place in the city of Harding , including a parade at 11 a . m . ( starting at the JJ Legacy grounds ), a power pedal tractor pull , music in town from 1 p . m . – 4 p . m ., a street dance from 8 p . m . – midnight , and a fireworks show at 10 p . m .
While no camping is allowed for the event , shuttle busses will brings guests from the city to the rodeo event .
Green Fair Folk Festival is back in 2023
The Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls invite the public to the 2023 Green Fair Folk Festival Wednesday , Aug . 2 , from 4-8 p . m ., on the west lawn of St . Francis Convent , Little Falls .
Browse the exhibits and find earth-friendly products , “ green ” education , fair trade items , seasonal produce ; observe the work of local artisans , all while listening to some amazing music . Bring your blankets or folding chairs and enjoy a wide variety of entertainment featuring students and faculty students from St . Francis Music Center and other local talent .
This is a family-friendly event with activities for kids , including free face painting . Sign-up for a tour of Sacred Heart Chapel ; ride a horse-drawn wagon through St . Francis campus grounds . Check-out the variety of food vendors and enjoy a 25-cent Franciscan peanut butter and jelly sandwich .
