Chalk up another one for the Ford Store
The dealership , which opened east of U . S . 101 in 2005 , is the No . 1 retail Ford dealer in Northern California for the second consecutive year . The dealership recently won the Ford Motor Company ’ s prestigious Triple Crown award . The Triple Crown honors dealerships that have excelled achieving exceptional customer satisfaction ratings , overall sales being in the top 100 performing Ford dealers in the country and providing exceptional financing options and availability to end customers .

How have the nearly 100 employees accomplished this ? Paulus said it ’ s a new business model . Instead of listing a vehicles manufacturer ’ s suggested retail price , they sell all vehicles at fleet prices , with little to no negotiating – usually reserved for fleet purchases and if someone wants to purchase multiple vehicles . And , sales people are not paid on commission , so they ’ re not looking to upgrade the customer or to try to sell them a more expensive car .
The Ford Store Morgan Hill is also amongst a unique breed of thriving family owned and operated dealerships . Today a large number of the dealerships one sees are actually part of a large dealer group . 2013 Friday Night Music Series
The Chamber ’ s Friday Night Music Series is one of Morgan Hill ’ s longest running summer fun traditions . Participants enjoy a rollicking good time at no charge thanks to our generous sponsors and the money earned selling on site soft drinks , beer and wine . Outside alcohol containing beverages are prohibited at this event by State Law . Local legend Shane Dwight headlines our August 23rd concert . Shane grew up on land in Morgan Hill , and has since achieved national success . We are lucky to have him come back to join our Friday night series as well as headlining the Taste of Morgan Hill Saturday evening concert on Saturday , September 28th .

2013 Taste of Morgan Hill September 28th & 29th
Big things are happening at this year ’ s Taste of Morgan Hill , which for the first time stays open until 9:30 p . m . Saturday , giving festival-goers , vendors and merchants more bang for their buck .
“ The idea is to create a late-night street dance-type atmosphere ,” said Chair of the Taste of Morgan Hill Committee and Chamber of Commerce Board Member Tim Hennessey . Country band Rodeo House will play from 5 to 7 p . m ., then Shane Dwight will take the stage and play until 9 p . m . Both bands will play at the West Third Street stage .
In all other aspects , the 24th Annual Taste of Morgan Hill – which takes place on Monterey Road between Dunne and Main avenues - will resemble earlier incarnations . There will be fine arts and quality crafts , food courts , a wine tent and brew garden , continuous live entertainment , a Kid ’ s Zone , Quilt Show , Custom & Classic Car Show , delicious food booths and other vendors of many types . Unlike many festivals , both admission and parking are free .
