Do you ever get writer ’ s
Block?Do you ever get
writer ’ s Block?
IIn a sense, it’s more like a stall. I either feeling
lazy, apprehensive or not ready to commit a
certain amount of time to a project. Sometimes I
know what I want to write but I am not inspired. I
am a mood driven author.
Any tips on how to get
through the dreaded
writer ’ s block?
I read but not in the subject or genre I am writing
or I write while listening to music or watching
something you’ve seen hundreds of times. If that
doesn’t work, I change locations and see how
that pans out.
What book / s are you
reading at present?
• I am still reading Joseph Campbell’s “the Hero
with a Thousand Faces” a colleague gave to me.
• A book by Shaarazad Ali and “the Mis-
Education of the Negro” by Carter Godwin
Moses in my workbag.
• The DC “Injustice series” and “Kingdom
Come.”
• I just finished “Interview with a Vampire,
Claudia’s Story” by Ashley Marie Witter
I buy more books than I can read and again just
like my writing, my reading is mood driven.
