When di become did you become d a d a you decide to writer?When ecide to writer? It happened naturally. I loved poetry and music. That how I joined my first band, writing lyrics to music on the spot. What made you decide to sit down and actually start something? I’ve always started work. I write all the time. Poetry was fun because I could start and finish fairly quickly. Short stories and long form, I struggled with. I had to commit to not letting life distract me. That happened early 2000’s. Which writers inspire you? Rod Serling, Joe Nazel, Iceberg Slim, Nnendi Okorafor, Orson Scott Card, Stephen King, Stephen R. Donaldson, Piers Anthony, Anne Rice, Tananarive Due, Steven Barnes, Chuck Palahniuk, John Byrne, Frank Miller, Howard Chaykin, Dwayne McDuffie, Neil Gaiman, Clive Barker, Edgar Allen Poe (a sixth cousin twice removed by the way), Homer & Dr. Seuss Tell us about what have you written? Books, Short Stories, Poems, Blogs, etc… I have poetry and photo art that have appeared in a magazine, title the Brentwood Blah Blah. I wrote a forward to the Cook Chronicles in Haiku form. I have poetry in quit a few Anthologies. I contributed a few horror poems to Sirens Call online magazine. I currently have a Short story in Black Power and Super Hero anthology. …And of course my novel Globes Disease What genre are your books? What draws you to this genre? I would call my book, Horror, Sci-Fi, Thriller action and adventure. I’ve loved these genres ever since childhood, with the Saturday creature features, Godzilla movies, Speed Racer and Batman with Adam West. It was my thing before it became a thing. Where do your ideas come from? Lord only knows. ( Laughing ) Often I draw inspiration from everyday life and situations. Then I add a twist to those things. Sometimes I just ask a question and try to answer it by making something up.
