Where do your ideas come from?
My ideas come from my life experience
and expressed in a descriptive manner
to connect with and capture the reader.
Writing and publishing a book
takes a lot of dedication. Please
tell us about your writing habits.
Do you write full-time or part-time?
What are you working on at the moment?
Please give us a sneak peek.
I have a busy year ahead of me. I am
currently working on a guide to
understanding “Open Wounds”. A youth
and juvenile version of “Open Wounds”.
“Open Wounds 2” and a book called
“Microwave Mentality” with Dr. Whitney
Gillespie. I am working on completing an
audio book for “Open Wounds” in
addition to releasing two songs I’ve
written and co-produced called You Say
and Contemplating.
Do you work to an outline or plot or do
you prefer just see where an idea takes
you?
Generally, when an idea, plot or title
comes to mind I write it down until I can
organize and expand on it later;
including an outline which keeps me on
track.
Which actor/actress would you like to
see playing the lead character from your
most recent book?
I would have to choose a youth, teenager
and an adult for Open Wounds. I have to
get back with you later on this one.
I write part-time which will be eventually
become full time.
Do you have a special time to write or
how is your day structured?
I write during the evenings for an hour or
three or when the time permits.
Do you write every day, 5 days a week or
when do you write?
I write each day depending on my
schedule and if I cannot I pick up the
next available day.
Do you write on a typewriter, computer,
dictate or longhand?
I generally write on my laptop, tablet,
cellphone, pad or notebook.
Do you aim for a set amount of
words/pages per day?
I don’t aim for a set amount of words or
pages per day. I write until my thoughts
no longer flow.
What are your ambitions for your writing
career?
My ambition is to become an
international and renowned author,
writer and screenwriter for movies.
