write. I’ve never had
moment when I sat down
to write and couldn’t find anything put down
on the paper. My issues as I mentioned is
getting myself to sit my behind down and let
the words go.

Any tips on how to get through the dreaded
writer’s block?
I would say this to any author, this has been

working lately,
sit your alarm
clock or phone in
another room, set it for early in the morning.
When it goes off don’t ask any questions just
get up and get to your computer and mash
those keys to get those words down. The last
few weeks this has been working for me. I am
going to try to keep it going. I learned this from
Mel Robbins reading her book The 5 Minute
Rule.
Tell us about your reading habits. Do you
read much and if so who are your favorite
authors?
I love audio books. I am an auditory learner so
I don’t read many books like other people. I
love to listen and by listening I take in
information the way others read. It’s actually
hard for me to sit and read a physical book. I
loved Stuart Scott’s Every Day I Fight, which
he wrote before succumbing to cancer. My
most recent downloads were The 5 Second
Rule by Mel Robbins and a classic The
Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I love so many
different types of works I can’t say I have any
one favorite. Really depends on my mood or
what I’ve learned about the author. An author
who shares an interesting word or two in their
interview will cause me to consider picking up
their book.
Word of mouth and reviews don’t do anything
for me. Since I know my personal feelings
don’t line up with others. As I said I prefer a
book in audio form. I may never finish the
digital or paperback my Kindle is packed with
books I haven’t finished yet.
What book/s are you reading at present?
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Why Nobody
Wants To Go To Church Anymore by Thomas
and Joani Schultz, and a few comic novels I
enjoy reading but haven’t finished.
What is your favorite book and why?
