His plan
... One Saturday afternoon, not too
long after the incident at work, my
girlfriend asked if I would come
over to babysit. Watching the girls,
I sat in her living room and asked
the oldest to bring me a pen and
paper. I wrote down, magazine,
More, articles, depression, holidays
and family. And the vision was
written.
When she came home, I showed her
the paper. She believed in this from
the start.

So many people have made this a
success. Contributors, writers,
designers, advertisers, survey
takers, even those who shared the
social media posts, have pushed
this off of the ground.
God has placed some truly awesome people in my life. I
especially thank LaShaunda Hoffman, the CEO of SORMAG
magazine. She gives me the bar to reach for. As I embarked on
this project, she reached out and offered to help me in anyway
she could.
I am surrounded by great women and men who are doing great
things! I dare not start mentioning names, because I don't want
to leave anyone out.
But I must thank my mother, who backs me and believes in
every idea. Ma, I pray I have made you proud
I had no idea that during this time off, MORE Magazine would
be birthed.
God made me uncomfortable in order for me to walk in my
purpose.
