Moon Into It! Vol. 2 Issue #2 | Page 13

●Set and Achieve Goals.. Quite simply if you have nowhere to go, you are already there. In order to break the chain you must set goals for your life and then achieve them! Setting goals is a job within itself. First you must know what you want in order to plan how to get it then you must work to achieve those goals. There is a old saying " plan your work, then work your plan".

●Take Action... Nothing will just happen because you want them to, you have to make it happen. All the talent and ability in the world means nothing unless you develop and use them. You must push yourself into action, don't wait for things to get better, you must start wherever you are with whatever you have. When you believe in yourself enough to take action on a better life, a better life you will have.

The Chain of mediocrity, average and ordinary must be broken by someone, at some time!

WELL, THE SOMEONE IS YOU AND THE TIME IS NOW! Use your gifts and talents to break to chain of mediocrity and start living a powerlife.

Confessions of an Old Soul

Writer: Jay Dee

How can there be liberation if freedom is not within the people? How can there be liberation if freedom is not in me? Believe me I am a teen, but my soul has seen centuries worth of struggles. Liberation is merly a word if your soul is still locked to pain.

For the last month I've been going through the hardest part of my earthly test, learning how to let go and let God (Divine). Silly phrase but in certain situations it's the only thing you can do. Two years of my life have been devoted to a man that became my reason for breathing. Much more than lovers when our souls connected, call us soul mates better yet twin flames. My heart beat went to his rhythm. I couldn't imagine that a flame could die. Like every teen you'd think that my dilemma is just another heart break on my path to true happiness. That may be so but my soul has felt a lot of things..but never defeat. I felt defeated. Love had finally beaten me down to my end and without doubt I had given up.

So tell me, how can liberation come out of defeat? How can defeat lead to a path of true freedom? It seems impossible that something so ugly can be so beautiful. That is my journey, learning how to see the little tiny bright light through the darkness that seems blinding. My journey will be long for I am still sitting with defeat on my shoulders but the realization of this means freedom...liberation.
