noms et de partisans de la marijuana
pousse depuis longtemps, bien avant les hippies
et le flower power.
Des années 1960 jusqu’à la génération pré-
sente d’adolescents curieux, fumer de la mari-
juana est devenu un geste presque normal dans
notre société. À tel point que la lutte pour légali-
ser cette drogue a reçu l’accord de 63 pour cent de
la population canadienne, selon un sondage de la
CBC tenu en avril dernier. g

monikers for marijuana has been
growing long before peace signs and flower
power, and so has the list of its supporters.
Starting from the ’60s to this current gen-
eration of experimenting teens, smoking ma-
rijuana has become almost normalized in our
society. So much so that the fight to legalize the
drug has been met with 63 per cent favourabil-
ity by the Canadian population, according to a
CBC poll this past April. gg
