Science and Policy, 2012) is
an environmental scientist
for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife
in the Lake and Streambed
Alteration Program. Kyle
works with the program to
help preserve the state’s
natural resources. He now
lives in Smith River, Calif.
with his fiancée, Veronica Arieas (B.A., Social &
Behavioral Sciences, 2009).
2010
EASTON HENRICKSON
(B.S., Business Administration) is the athletics
operations manager
for the Academy of Art
University in San Francisco.
Prior to taking her current
position, she worked as the
intramurals coordinator
and administrative support coordinator for CSU
Monterey Bay, where she
helped to pioneer a new
intramural program. Easton
lives in San Jose.
AUDREY FRAIJO (B.A.,
Human Communication) is
the director of Envision:
Young Professionals, a
networking and educational program backed by
the Fort Collins Area
Chamber of Commerce. Her
organization was recently
nominated for Chamber of
the Year. Among her other
accomplishments, Audrey
was also nominated for the
40 Under 40 award through
the Northern Colorado
Business Report. As an avid
motorcycle rider and racer,
she spends her free time
riding and teaching
children to ride.
JESSE LITTLEFIELD (B.S.,
Information Technology &
Communication Design)
works for Incendia Creative
in Monterey. He does video
production and post-production for various companies around the Monterey
area. Previously, Jesse
worked for a production
company in Hollywood,
where he contributed to
more than 10 reality shows,
built websites, and did a
commercial. Many of the
shows he worked on were
picked up by companies
such as Animal Planet and
USA. Jesse lives in Marina.
RANDALL RIGALI (B.A.,
Human Communication)
works with the United
States Soccer Federation in
Carson as a national teams
coordinator. He works in
a team environment and
builds relationships with
different football federations. In 2012, Randall
graduated from the University of San Francisco with
a master’s degree in sport
management. Randall also
volunteers with Alianza de
futbol, a sports marketing agency. He lives in
Temecula, where he enjoys
golfing, photography, and
hiking.
2011
CAROLINE HERSH (B.S.,
Environmental Studies) is
an electronic media coordinator at Restore America’s
Estuaries. Previously, she
was an intern at the National Environmental Education
Foundation (NEEF) and at
the National Audubon Society. She has done volunteer
work with Blue Frontier
Campaign, participating in
Capitol Hill Ocean Day and
speaking to congressional
representatives about the
importance of preserving
marine resources. Caroline
lives with her husband Josh
in Washington, D.C., where
she enjoys hiking, botanizing, cooking, and blogging.
SAMUEL MESSINA (B.S.,
Business Administration) accepted a full-time
position at C.H. Robinson
Worldwide, Produce Transportation Sales shortly
after graduation. Samuel
lives in Marina with his
wife Carrie Anne Messina
(B.S., Psychology, 2012).
In his spare time, Samuel
enjoys playing disc golf
and mountain biking at
Fort Ord.
KERMIT LUND (B.S., Environmental Science Technology & Policy) enrolled
in his first college course in
September 1952. Almost 59
years later, Kermit earned
his Bachelor of Science
degree from CSUMB.
Kermit is retired from IBM,
where he worked for 35
years holding positions
such as customer engineer,
systems engineer, and
manager of programming
language control and
standards. He volunteers
through the Gilroy Library,
assisting students with the
math section of the GED.
He and his wife of 48 years,
Iris, live in San Jose.
BETHLEHEM (BETH) CAYETANO (B.S., Mathematics) is a Salinas High math
teacher, and entered the
Master of Arts in Education
program at CSUMB in fall
2013. She loves working
with her students to help
them develop a passion
for and an understanding
of math. Bethlehem lives
in Marina and spends her
spare time reading, participating in Salinas High com-
