CELEBRATE MATISSE : MIDNIGHTINPARIS

The Montclair Art Museum ( MAM ) celebrated the magic of Matisse at its spring fundraising event , including a festive gala and after-dark soiree . The event was the museum ’ s largest fundraiser of the year and was aspecial evening highlighting the glamour of 1920s Paris with dinner and entertainment . Funds from the event will help support the museum ’ s exhibitions and awardwinning education programs .

CELEBRATE MATISSE : PUTTIN ’ ON THE RITZ

The Montclair Art Museum also paid tribute to Matisse with a special luncheon featuring the Matisse-inspired Designer ’ s Challenge . The Puttin ’ on the Ritz spring luncheon included a private viewing of the special exhibition Matisse and American Art , and an in-depth presentation on the artist and his influence on art in this country . Funds from the event will go to support MAM ' s exhibitions and awardwinning education programs .
