home AL FRESCO LIVING (Clockwise from top left) The China plates are from Finland, the mats and napkins are from Sri Lanka, and the table has a twin that, when used together, can seat 26. The sculpture made from the oak tree is at right, surrounded by one of the many paths that lead visitors around the garden. In the top center of this photo, a baboon sculpture sits in front of a glass design by a Berlin artist. A cat sculpture makes itself at home amid a row of five vintage Salterini clamshell chairs and small tables. Oxford sculptress Geraldine Knight created the cat, as well as eight other sculptures on the property, including the Jersey cow backed up by hornbeams and Hakonechloa grass from Japan (above). The masonry on site was completed over two years by Michael Hebda Masonry in Bloomfield. > 48 FALL 2017 MONTCLAIR MAGAZINE
