Garcia has published a book entitled Empowered Design: A Design Plan for Living
($13, amazon.com). “I believe that what you see around you, your external world, is a
direct reflection of your internal world,” she says. “A cluttered mind usually goes hand
and hand with a cluttered space, or a cluttered life. To truly design a life that not only
looks good but feels good, you have to start from the inside and work your way out.”
