DENTISTRY FOR CHILDREN OF WEST ESSEX, LLC | 412 PLEASANT VALLEY WAY | WEST ORANGE | (973) 731-2468 | WWW.THE-BIG-GRIN.COM
“THE MOST REWARDING THING TO ME ABOUT PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY IS WHEN I SEE A CHILD
come in who is anxious and by the time he or she leaves is smiling and asking
their parents when they can come back,” says Dr. Kimberly Rosenfeld. “The
goal of our practice is to establish a relationship with our patients, educate
them, and to help develop a positive attitude towards dentistry that will follow
them throughout their lives.”
“Dr. Kim” credits her success to a great team. “We are like family. The
dedication, talent, and love for children is evident to all who visit Dentistry for
Children of West Essex.” Practicing with Dr. Rosenfeld are her partner,
Dr. Richard Eytel, pediatric associates Dr. Emelie Preis and Dr. Iva LeRoy, and
orthodontist Dr. Kevin Persily.
The practice cares for infants, children, teens, and those with special needs and
is dedicated to providing a unique, compassionate, caring and enjoyable
environment. They offer a full range of treatment including preventive,
cosmetic, and orthodontics. Dr. Rosenfeld and Dr. Eytel are also on staff at
St. Barnabas and have the capability of treating patients under general
anesthesia when required, for the very young or special needs patient.

Children should establish a “dental home” by the age of one to evaluate the
child’s dental development, but most importantly to educate the parent about
proper brushing, oral hygiene, and diet. Dr. Rosenfeld says, “Good oral care
begins early. Early education helps prevent problems from arising as the teeth
erupt and the child develops.”
