Now in its 31th year this annual food drink and fun fest will be held July 12-15 on the spacious grounds of the sponsoring Greek Orthodox Church just south of Country Road 39 three miles west of Southamp- ton Village. These days and nights offer a full comple- ment of Greek culture, from great food, fine wines, home- made desserts, live music and Greek dancing. One of the most popular events of the summer you can attend from 4-11pm daily except for Sunday when the hours are trimmed to 3-9pm. While you’re there have a heaping plate of moussaka, a big Greek salad and a cold beer on me! And don’t forget to say “filoxenia!” That’s Greek for “hospitality” something they serve up free to all comers. FA R M E R S MARKET L ooking for the freshest food on the East End? They drop by any of the many local Farmer’s Markets. Come meet the folks who grow your food, catch your fish, harvest your shellfish and pick your vegetables. You can catch the action in East Hampton every Sunday from 9am - 1pm on North Main Street in the Nick and Toni’s Restaurant parking lot.
