“ The ignorant man is not the unlearned , but he who does not know himself , and the learned man is stupid when he relies on books , on knowledge and on authority to give him understanding . Understanding comes only through self- knowledge , which is awareness of one ' s total psychological process . Thus education , in the true sense , is the understanding of oneself , for it is within each one of us that the whole of existence is gathered ”

It is not that holistic education is new , or that the genius children are a new phenomena . The topic is around the fact that more and more parents are increasingly aware and also doing as much as possible to raise the intelligence in their new born babies . From mother ’ s preoccupations on diet and the capacity of having a healthy and brain boosting diet , to listening to classical music and other preoccupations , as yoga for pregnancy – all of these have resulted in a baby boom like no other in the history of human kind . Many of these children learn faster – with breath-taking information processing abilities , they understand life in a more complex way , use clairvoyance easier than the parents can grasp the concept , are emotionally wiser than the parents and do not respond to any guiltinducing discipline techniques in school , at home or in society .
