follow the elimination of mental reading or mental repeating of what you read. For a better success and a provided help you can do the following helping exercise: While you read you will count from 1 to 10 retaking this numbering while you finish to read or until you will succeed in totally removing a “small, big” impediment (mental repeating), which slows down the capacity to read faster, performance which is not easy to realize, being necessary a sustained practice and perseverance. The Wood method is an easier method at which you do not need a lot of practice, but only to remember to move your finger along the row which you are reading. This method helps the eyes to focus, to recognize and to understand faster. Take a book and try to look on each page for 5 seconds, for 1 minute, after which close the book and try to remember what words you have seen and remembered. Another help is represented by the courses accompanied by movie. No, no! Do not think about artistic movies, but about movies in which are displayed some words simultaneously and run with a very big speed on a screen. This method being used from 1959 until today. Another exercise is the one in which you try to replace visually the place of what your eyes perceive, meaning the objects around you (changing their place and position), to create a balance of the hemispheres which will help your brain to have an activity as big as possible or total. These few steps and their practice will help you to develop more abilities: concentration, faster reading, understanding, memory … And, do not believe that this method is a topical gimmick! Scientists, writers, professors, scholars and not only, have been preoccupied by these domains since the end of 18th century. We wish you luck and better results.
