The prayer and
its healing
power
What is a prayer?
“The prayer is an endless work, above any art
or science. Through Prayer, we connect with
the Being without beginning, or, in other words,
God’s life itself enters us by this channel. The
prayer is an act of higher wisdom, which
exceeds any beauty and honour. In prayer, we
find the sacred delight of our spirit...” (The
blessed Arhimandrit Sfronie).
It represents the endless will of the human to
connect with the supreme creative wisdom
power - the thing with which you are born and
you try to maintain during your entire life.
Khalil Gibran said: “The prayer is the heart’s
song”; this is the energy you feel when your
heart is awake and you have the spirit in
yourself.
Where is the prayer found?
Religions of all kind follow to create a bond of
the individual with God, and for this, they, by
their representative, have drafted a lot of
prayer books and rituals meant to deviate the
attention of the adorer from an interior search
and to aim it to an exterior God, separately
from His creation. A Judge, Creator, Destroyer
God, etc. Instead, let’s remember that the
authentic spiritual schools speak about a piece
from God which is found within us, under the
Inner Self or Atman, the Divine spark which
which make us by acknowledgment
potentially become as Him.

This is the Witness God. Present in each
conscious, created being and which waits
and He has to be discovered inside our beings.
So the prayer appear us as being one of the
most powerful and unbeatable ways or
methods of searching the Truth. Exterior
searches of Divinity made by rituals,
pilgrimages, prayers and collective invocation
in temples and churches are insufficient if they
are not doubled by a simultaneous interior
search. The sincere, profound, came from the
heart interior prayer and addressed both to
the exterior One, the Creator of everything
and to the interior One, the silent Witness,
makes as gradually the Divine to reveal the
searcher’s consciousness.
At the beginning by small signs and exterior
synchronicities which gradually become
significant, sometimes miraculous, and by the
appearance of some interior unusual states of
profound calm, peace, joy, gratitude,
happiness, love more and more intense and
overwhelming inspired by the Heavenly
Father.
The searcher found in this stage makes with
amazement that the state of continuous
adoration and prayer have existed for forever
in his being only that until then he has ignored
them.
