The Beautiful , independent from its reality , is the representation in the human consciousness of the properties and characteristics considered to be true , harmonious , good and uplifting of the object , or of a being or a phenomena .
The Beautiful makes possible the surprise of observing the being . This observing is the surprising of the being . The Beautiful makes man to cross the beautiful towards the essence , towards this being . The Beautiful uplifts us , above the sensible , carrying us towards what is true . Both truth and beauty , is related to the being , having both a revelatory and a revealing role . Platon makes The Beautiful an aspect of the Good , that Good which is a measure and a proportion . He also asserts that aesthetic satisfactions are inherent to unbiased scientific research .“ The Beautiful that lives forever , that is never born and nor it dies , that does not grow , nor falls , the beautiful that remains equal to itself ” ( Plato )
