rejuvenate your tired toes with a foot wrap such as Baby Foot, which contains natural products like fruit acid to exfoliate the thickened skin. Too scared to try a peel? Try something more mild like over-the-counter Amlactin lotion, containing a low percent of lactic acid.

Replenish your pout

If the summer sun has left your lips dry and cracked, nourish your lips back to health with concentrated moisture. A gentle scrub like LUSH Lip Scrub in Mint Juleps will help smooth out dry, cracked lips and leave them soft and supple. For daily use, opt for an lubricating lip ointment with SPF such as Aquaphor Lip Repair.

Hydration is key

Topical hydration is perhaps the most important part of maintaining your summer glow. Look for products that contain hyaluronic acid which does wonders for skin hydration. In fact, it can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water. If your skin tends to be more dry than usual in the fall and winter months, you’ll also want to use a rich, oil-based cream at night to nourish and help lock in moisture. One of my favorite over the counter finds is Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream.

Self-tanning tips

I can assure you, you won’t be mistaken for a pumpkin! Self-tanners have come a long way since and are truly the only safe tanning method. These work best after a good exfoliation. A couple of my favorites are Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer or any of the St. Tropez products. Looking for a professional application? Check out Forbidden Tans on Osprey Avenue. Here’s to a glowing fall and winter!
