A Letter From Our President
Happy fall, y’all!
I can’t believe that time is upon us that we’re starting to shop for Christmas gifts and plan holiday meals. How did this happen so quickly?!
Our biggest kid friendly event of the year is coming up very soon! Our Sunday with Santa consistently proves to be our most popular event, and it certainly is the most well loved by the kiddos! For those of you new to us, this is a more formal event where kids and families get private time with Santa. This year, time with Santa will even be in a private room so you won’t have the distractions of other families passing by. Santa gives each child their first gift of the season and we take professional quality photographs for you all to enjoy. Tickets will be on sale very soon, so please keep an eye out for that.
Most importantly, this season is the time for giving and the ladies of LWRMG never disappoint. We will have a toy and book drive at the Sunday with Santa event. All the donations will be given to the Love McKinley charity for them to disperse among kids in treatment over the holidays. We will also be doing a craft event soon so our kids can make cards and decorations to help brighten the rooms of All Children’s. We will also be sponsoring TEN local families and helping provide their children with necessities and some goodies to help them get through the holidays. I realize that this is such a busy time, so we will tack on a donation buitton to the Sunday with Santa tickets and a few volunteers will do the shopping for these families.
Thank you all so much for being so involved. Our events have had such a great turnout and I’m thrilled that we have so many active moms. Look forward to seeing you all soon!
