The inaugural “Cocktails and Conversation” will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at Constantino’s, 1385 Lackawanna Trail, Clarks Summit. The event will begin at 4:30 p.m., with networking. At 5:30 p.m., facilitated breakout group discussions arranged by topic will begin. The event will conclude with a wrap-up session at 7 p.m. Cocktails & Conversation Empowering Women in Business Mari Potis, the Chamber’s director of membership and events, said that the new programming focuses on continuing the conversation from the Northeast Pennsylvania Women’s Leadership Conference. “We want to empower women and give them the tools they need to succeed in the workplace and beyond,” she said. “We plan to address topics that are important to women, such as branding, creating a work/life balance and negotiation skills. We are excited to debut this new programming in a beautiful, new venue such as Constantino’s, and we hope it helps carry the momentum of the Northeast Pennsylvania Women’s Leadership Conference throughout the year.” An additional Cocktails and Conversation lunch event is being planned for January.
