The advanced training helps prepare healthcare profes- sionals, emergency response teams and other government officials for emer- gency response and optimal decision-making during a large-scale emergency, such as a natural disaster or terrorist attack. The training sessions, Healthcare Leadership (HCL) and Hospital Emergency Response Team (HERT), included a combination of lectures and hands-on drills.
