CHINESE FENESTRATION
BUSINESS DELEGATIONS
VISIT THE CHAMBER
Crystal Window & Door
Systems, in conjunction with
The Greater Scranton Chamber
of Commerce, recently hosted
two fenestration industry
delegations from China.
The overseas businesses were part
of two Chinese trade associations
visiting the United States seeking
to better understand the American
window and door manufacturing
industry and to learn about doing
business in the United States.
The groups attended morning
presentations at The Chamber,
followed by afternoon tours of the
Crystal Windows factory and the
associated 226-acre Crystal PA
Business Park in Benton Township.
Each Chinese delegation consisted
of owners and top executives of
fenestration manufacturers, suppliers,
developers and construction
firms. Local elected and economic
development officials as well as
national fenestration testing, standards
setting, and certification companies
also participated in the visits.
