Whether championing major public works projects, developing industrial
parks and buildings, hosting a multitude of events to foster community spirit,
promoting workforce and leadership development, or raising a voice for
business in the halls of government, your Chamber has a long and storied
history of progressive change in Lackawanna County. Our board of directors
has charged us with the task of honoring that amazing legacy of people, places,
dreams and actions that have so positively impacted the lives and livelihoods of
the citizens of our valley with a party appropriate to our 150th year milestone.
Get ready for some fun – because on the evening of June 20, we want all of our
members to come together for an anniversary celebration that will entertain,
inform and — most importantly — celebrate all that has made ours a great
community.
We have engaged some of our most creative members to help package a
unique event, worthy of this landmark occasion. I don’t want to spoil the
anticipation by saying too much, but trust me – it won’t be boring! You’ll just
