PERSONNEL AAA Announces Staff Promotions Andrew Snyder was recently promoted to the position of Scranton Office Manager at AAA North Penn. Andrew started at AAA North Penn in the Emergency Road Service department in April 2009. Mr. Snyder is a trained and certified AAA Mature Operator. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Keystone College and has 10 years of experience within AAA North Penn. Melissa N. Garcia, CPA, MBA, AAA North Penn Controller, was recently promoted as a member of the Executive Team. She joined AAA North Penn in 2013 as the controller. Ms. Garcia received a Bachelor of Science in Financial Accounting, with a minor in Finance and a Master of Business Administration, from The University of Scranton. Ms. Garcia has a Pennsylvania professional license as a Certified Public Accountant, and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Nina Waskevich, MBA, was recently promoted to the position of Vice President Brand and Membership at AAA North Penn. Ms. Waskevich joined AAA North Penn in 2013 as Director of Marketing/Public Relations. Ms. Waskevich has more than 15 years’ experience in marketing, sales, and overall business operations. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from King’s College and a Master of Business Administration from Wilkes University. Matt Colgan was recently promoted to Regional Commercial Banking Manager at NBT Bank. Mr. Colgan has more than a decade of banking experience. He joined NBT Bank in 2008 as a part of NBT’s Commercial Banking Development Program. Since then, he has assumed positions of increasing responsibility, including Commercial Banking Relationship Manager. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in finance from King’s College. M. Justin Coffey, M.D., a board-certified psychiatrist and behavioral neurologist, has been named Geisinger’s Chair of the Department of Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine and Behavioral Health. He holds distinct interests in education and quality improvement and has received numerous accolades. He has penned and reviewed numerous academic journal publications and is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and vice president of the International Society for ECT & Neurostimulation. After completing his medical degree at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, Dr. Coffey completed his internship and residency at the University of Michigan hospitals. Juliette McKerrell has joined The Dime Bank as Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer. She has more than 18 years of professional experience developing customer relationships, 12 of them in the financial services arena. Her responsibilities at The Dime Bank will include garnering new commercial customer relationships in the area as well as maintaining existing commercial relationships. Ms. McKerrell has successfully completed the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking & Wharton Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated from the PA Bankers Association School of Commercial Lending with honors. She attended Sullivan County Community College and studied Liberal Arts and Science, Fundamentals of Insurance and Property and Casualty. United Gilsonite Laboratories (UGL) recently announced the appointments of Joseph M. McGraw to Senior Vice President of North American Sales and Michele Margotta Neary to Vice President of Marketing. Mr. McGraw has more than 30 years of leadership experience at UGL. In his previous position as Vice President of Marketing, McGraw has proven that he can take UGL’s established history and push the company to the next level. Ms. Neary joined UGL in 2012 as Director of Public Relations and progressed to Media Buyer and most recently Senior Director of Corporate Communication and Brand Marketing.
