WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START YOUR BUSINESS?
Owning my own shop has always been on my bucket list. I have been
a collector of weird and wacky antiques for as long as I can remember.
When I opened my store on Bogart Court in October 2017, it wasn’t
exactly planned, but the world aligned. Thanks to support from my
friends and the local community, I was able to take the plunge and make
my dream come true.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT DOING BUSINESS LOCALLY?
I love owning a business in downtown Scranton. I love being a part of
Scranton’s resurgence and I love getting to meet the interesting people
that are making this city come alive.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO JOIN THE CHAMBER?

Being a new store downtown and with little funds for advertising, it was
hard for me to get the word out that I was open for business. Joining
the Chamber is a no-brainer for any local business — not only is my
name listed in their directory and on their website, but they also provide
opportunities for me to network and to join in on their sponsored
events. The Chamber’s newsletters also allow me to stay up-to-date
with other local businesses so that I can show them the same support
that I receive from the community.
